Black Box has confirmed that Skate 2 will be grinding its way onto store shelves across North America on January 21, 2009, with a European release arriving two days later.
Prior to the game’s launch, however, players will be offered the chance to dabble with a new Graphics Creator tool on the official Skate website, allowing users to create custom skins for in-game hats, decks and shirts, sporting an “unrivalled” level of individuality.
Folk in the U.S. can also take advantage of an exclusive pre-order incentive, granting them access to a special code used to unlock the Throwback Pack, which contains a number of new goodies including extra clothing and accessories.
Skate 2 will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

tony hawk has been garbage since the second one. it was the same thing over and over again. not a fan of button mashing. this game is the closest it gets to the real feel of skating.
