Ubisoft expecting high honors for Prince of Persia

Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot, is expecting nothing but great things from reviewers in regards to the next installment in the Prince of Persia franchise. This isn't surprising whatsoever, considering the great scores the title has already received. According to Guillemot, the Prince has seen scored in the high 8s, 9s and even a perfect 10.
"Already, there's a number of good marks. We have 8s, some 9s and one 10. But we're still waiting for a lot of marks to come. So altogether, at the moment [scores are around] high 8s. We hope it can be in the 9s, but [we expect] it to be 8.5 and 9.2 or 3," Guillemot said during a Wednesday earnings call.
As many of you are already aware, our hands-on preview of Prince of Persia left us very impressed. The next iteration into the already historic franchise is on schedule to hit retail shelves on December 2 in North America. Check back for our full review of the title around release.

Well it's quite arrogant for Ubisoft to be saying this, but they do have a good track record with PoP. But as always, I'll see how I feel about it after I play it ... but play it I shall, all the PoP games from the original arcade to the Two Thrones were somewhat spectacular. Looking forward to finding out what's next.
