PSU: Reader's Choice Awards Finalized

We gave you the chance to have your voice heard on the subject of video games and you responded strongly. With over 200 entries, PlayStation Universe’s inaugural Reader’s Choice Awards were, in our opinion, a strong success. We love our user interaction on this site and we’re always glad to see you guys participate in anything we give you the opportunity to.
With that being said, the votes have been tallied and winners chosen, not by us, but by you. Some titles destroyed the competition, while some stayed neck-and-neck until the very end. Did the title you pick win or ultimately fail to shine? We’re sure you’d rather have us stop typing and just tell you who won, right? Not yet. Before we get to our winners, we’d like to announce the winners of our giveaway prizes.
I’d like to make note that NONE of these prizes will be mailed until AFTER January 1. This is to prevent any loss in the mail during a busy holiday shipping period. I’m sure you all agree that it’s better the package arrives than getting “lost” in the mail due to some postal worker, right? So let’s get down to it.

This is too bias for me. A PS3 exclusive won in almost every category. While I do feel they are good titles I wouldn't say they are all the best.

I can live with the winners.... as long as Far Cry 2 didn't win anything. That game deserves only hate for having devs who outright lied and for its puzzling lack of support.

@3 yea nice guess given that this is 'playstation' universe, ye i agree with all the results except for goty which i voted gta4 for but still mgs4 was my second so i cant complain

Burnout better than Motor Storm? Not! I traded Burnout in almost imediately after I bought it.Yes Resistance 2 is the best shooter this gen until Killzone 2 comes out.

that was fair, i would have chose Motorstom 2 for best driving but burnout was sick as well and how does R2 not deserve best shooter (gears of war 2 would've been my second choice, CODWAW was not up to snuff IMO)??? some of you need to pull your heads out of your *** and play that game again the storyline, graphics, AI, physics, Weapons everything in that game was top notch and no way does GTA4 deserve GOTY NO WAY that game was extremely dissapointing, MGS4 wholly deserves that spot

I'm glad with almost all of the results, only thing I would change is most addictive game. I sure do hate LBP.

farcry2 should have been up there i liked it better than resistance2 @ darthrazorback wtf are u talking about farcry2 already got a patch and an expansion pack and not only did they add 4 new maps u also get 3 new weapons 2new vehicles not to mention theres alot of user created maps u can play in all cod4 and cod5 maps u can even change weather and time. imagine the world of farcry2 with zombies everywhere the more u kill the more u level up and unlock weapons now that would be the best game ever maybe farcry3!!

agreed with most of the choices, but I would have picked Crisis Core for PSP. and shouldn't there be a Best Graphics/Soundtrack awards?
