Eidos has revealed that Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy will be reprising their roles from the Batman animated series for Rocksteady Studios’ hotly anticipated Arkham Asylum.
Hamil will be lending his talents to the villainous Joker, while Conroy will assume the role of the legendary Dark Knight himself, having voiced the iconic hero for over fifteen years.
Batman: Arkham Asylum splices hard-hitting combat with stealthy detective escapades, with the majority of the action taking place from an over-the-shoulder perspective, ala Resident Evil 4. Batman will find himself up against a plethora of villains, with early sneak peaks suggesting appearances of The Penguin, Mr. Freeze and The Scarecrow.
The game hits PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in Summer 2009.
