LucasArts has debunked overnight reports suggesting that it’s upcoming Indiana Jones title has been cancelled, confirming that details on the project “are forthcoming.”
Sources close to IGN last night claimed that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 adventure romp had been cancelled.
However, speaking in a statement to Joystiq, LucasArts said it "remains absolutely committed to the Indiana Jones franchise. While we are aware that fans have been eagerly awaiting additional information on the upcoming game, they can rest assured that details are forthcoming".
Indiana Jones first reared its head back at E3 2006, though details on the game have been decidedly scarce ever since. Rumours last September pointed to a new trailer in the works, though this ultimately failed to materialise.
