Monolith’s upcoming horror sequel F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin has officially gone gold ahead of its release on February 10 for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.

The game will arrive in Europe and Australia a few days later on February 13. Long time readers may recall that the FPS was at first refused rating down under by Australia’s OFLC, before finally being granted release in the territory with no cuts made.

F.E.A.R. 2 casts gamers in the role of Delta Force operator Michael Becket, replacing the Point Man from the original game. Once again, players will face the wrath of the mysterious and powerful psychic known as Alma on their travels, whose paranormal outburst threatens to consume the world with her own twisted interpretation of reality.

Expect a review next month.

I recommed this game for the pc. It's amazing. It's always failed as a console port so don't misjudge it if you get it for the ps3. Plus it can't comepete versus kz2.

I won't buy this games, Due to the economy I'll go for K2 and RE5. They went mass production without doing a market research, unless they went gold PS3,X360 and PC combined.

Anim3Fr33k - no, you're not the only one. Demo was decent enough, so I'll be picking this one up. With K2 already paid for, it makes the decision a lot easier. HARDCOREPS3 - "Gold" means the game is complete, ready for mass production(if it hasn't already been sent to the factory).

Can't wait for this game as I loved the first game.  But i have to agree with NirvanaFr3ak that this is just one of those games that needs to be played on pc.
