Fear: A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.
F.E.A.R. 2 is Monolith Productions' second leap into the F.E.A.R. franchise. This time around, they’re letting you complete the story from a completely different perspective. While gamers controlled the Point Man through the first campaign, Michael Becket, a Delta Force operator who happens to have landed on the scene just shortly prior to Alma’s final outburst of hate, is now the lead protagonist. As always, things don’t go according to plan, and that is when the real F.E.A.R. begins, when it’s time to turn those lights back on and wonder if the trip back to your room is worth the anxiety.

F.E.A.R. is an emotion envoked by danger, evil, and pain, regardless of if you’re staring down a long unlit corridor or hiding under the sheets while the thunder plays its score from afar. It’s an emotion that gets the best of us and has the potential to turn us into whimpering wrecks. How many of you have bought a title like F.E.A.R. 2 and refused to play in a dark room? Don’t be shy; you won’t be alone if you raise your hand. I, as a gamer, am right there with you. I too have cowered in front of my console worried about what’s coming around that far corner or if a little, vengeful girl by the name of Alma will leave me in a corridor of blood. Oddly enough, that same feeling of F.E.A.R. is also enough to continue to push you to discover what knocked that chair down behind you, or why these paranormal events are occurring.
F.E.A.R. is different for all of us. It affects us all differently and envokes different reactions. Perhaps for you, F.E.A.R. pushes you to save the world once more in your latest video game purchase, or maybe it forces you to turn the console off until you have a friend around to watch you play. It’s always different, but in the end that tingly feeling on the back of your neck and those goosebumps rising up all over your body give off that same disturbing emotion.
We’d like to know below exactly what is fear to you?

I have both fear 1 and 2. i beat them both. fear 1 story was longer 11 intervals but fear 2 was shorter 7 intervals or 14 missions. fear 2 was way more scary and gory than the 1st fear and graphics and game play was also better than the fear 1. i liked the game and i think its not bad. i give it 8 out of 10 but to me fear is RESIDENT EVIL 5
