The barrage of Resident Evil 5 media continues this week in the form of a brand new video showcasing protagonists Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of Kijuju at the beginning of the game.
Check out the video below.
Resident Evil 5 takes place a decade after the events of the original game, with players hopping into the shoes of veteran zombie-slayer, Chris Redfield, who is now a prominent member of the Bio-Terrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA).
Teaming up with newcomer Sheva Alomar, Redfield is dispatched to Kijuju to investigate the latest bio-terrorism threat, where the pair discover blood-thirsty locals, hulking beasts and a few familiar faces.
Keep your eyes peeled for our review early next month.

erm? That video just wasted a minute of my life. This game is a no no based on the demo and the rubbish controls. Great graphics still, but it's not fooling me.

It seems hat it is at the beginning of the game. I not really that excited but still I will get this game. I am more excited by street fighter 4 and Killzone 2. And well the controllers Ive been playing almost every single RE game except RE3 so because its been a while the controller seems akward but not to the degree that will ruin the game.

I AM FED UP WITH PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT CONTROLS!! every killzone 2 forum and resi5 forum is complaining about the controls and saying how crap they are!! are they so stupid that they can't adapt to things. so people can adapt to the heat, the cold but not pressing buttons and stuff!! i mean.... GET USED TO IT!! its really not that hard. when i first played i was like woah.... u cant move and aim, how crap is that. but i kept playing that second level trying to get past that awesome chainsaw dude, and i got used to the controls. u get accustommed to it real easily. i learnt the pattern of stopping, shooting, doing a quick turn, running, another quick turn and then shooting again. AND if u could move and aim, the game wouldnt be half as good. so LISTEN people, u think the controls are broken??? play the demo a few more times, and soon, u'll be saying, oh god i was a real B**TARD! this game is actually awesome!!!

I beat both levels on the demo first try, it controls almost like RE4, but that's not why it sucks so bad. It's the BS pass and share gameplay with Shiva.

I love the controls to this game! Everybody likes the controls in RE4, but RE5 controls are better than those! If u like RE4 controls more, than switch to them when u play this game

I played the demo and beat both crappy levels, the camera is utter crap and the way your character moves is sluggish and unbearable. I would HATE to have to play a whole game like that. I am not just talking about the button layout but the entire control system and gameplay is poorly thought out.

It's all about adapting your self with every game and control settings. The game is great in my opinion. It took a little time for me in the demo but i got it at last. The graphics are very good and to be playing in africa rather then some mansion or a big city is even better. Can't wait for the game to come out, this is a must buy for me at day 1 along with Killzone 2.

I'm also tired of hearing people saying the controls are crap. What's so crap about them? L1 to aim, R1 to shoot. Left thumb stick to move, right thumb stick to move camera, d-pad to change weapons. Sounds pretty simple to me. Anyways, I can't wait to get this game, been playing the demo just about everyday since it came out. I wonder what those guys were beating in that bag. Animal? Human?

I have played the demo over and over, and also have pre-ordered the game (awsoem globe included, think about it) and I have to say, good job. The game has very heavy controls, true, but that is the soul of the Resident Evil game, controls that are heavy, therefore adding an extra level of difficulty. I am tired of morons who sit there and whine and cry about the heavy controls (posters 2 and 11). Adapt, or stop playing games, you simpleton, whining, sniveling little children. The game is made this way for a reason, just because it isn't Killzone, Gears of War or God of War-type controls that are speedy and such does NOT mean that it is crap. The camera is good and resposive, the graphics are amazing, and I like the new co-op aspect of the game. Just because you have no friends to play with does not mean you can complain about something that is meant as co-op fun. Get a life, stop your whining, and go play some Killzone or Resistance you whiners and stop hating on an amazing game just because you don't know how to take your time and be strategic.
