Developer Criterion Games has outdone themselves on almost a monthly basis since the initial batch of Burnout Paradise DLC released back in 2008. This week marks the umpteenth time that the studio is releasing yet another content pack for fans of the series to enjoy in the form of the Toy Car Pack, due for release on PSN this Thursday.

"Regular Burnout fans will recognise 5 Paradise City classics - the Carson GT Concept P12, the Kreiger Racing WTR, the Hunter Takedown 4x4 and the Hunter Manhatten, but there are 9 awesome vehicles in this range," said the developer.

Unfortunately there’s no price attached to the content as of yet, but going by past experience we imagine it’ll retail in the $7.99 - $9.99 range.

I love what Criterion have done with the content for BP over the last year, and I bought the Party Pack. I have no objection to paying for content either. But these car packs are very over-priced for what they offer.

It would be groovy if these cars were actually tiny in game, so small that you could drive under someone else's car, and discover new places previously unavailable to the normal sized cars.

I get the impression though that these cars will only look like toy cars and they will be the exact same and proper size, which i think is a shame.

Can't they work on the new island, the premium content has almost been worthless. Mini versions of cars should be free if not yet another useless pack

I think pricing is too expensive to catch most of the old players, but it might just be me. I would like them to compensate $10 for players who paid more of the than $20 of the game. But im sure they fix pricing if sales are not good.

I agree with you about the pricing to a certain extent, some of the DLC has been over priced.

To be honest i rarely play it much these days, i started playing it again cos i heard about the new island, but it seems this is gonna take an age to arrive, i know ill be bored of it by then.
