The Beatles: Rock Band coming 9/9/09

Has there ever been a more iconic band in the history of modern music than The Beatles? If there has, you'll be hard pressed to find one. That's what makes Harmonix's choice of basing a new installment in the Rock Band series around the legendary British group such a valid decision.
The good news is you won’t have to wait too long for it either, with both Harmonix and MTV Games planning on giving The Beatles: Rock Band a worldwide release on September 9, 2009. This means that Europeans who've been forced to wait months for Rock Band titles from North America to arrive in PAL territories can now enjoy the game at the same time as folk across the pond. The game will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
Harmonix is also releasing a Limited Edition Bundle for the title, which will include instruments for the game that are modeled after the one's used by the Beatles themselves. This spectacular bundle is expected to retail for $249.99 USD, quite the hefty price tag if we do say so ourselves. Much like prior releases, standalone guitars are also going to be made available for $100 USD, with the game costing $60 USD.
As cheesy as it sounds, the yellow submarine is emerging from the depths of the ocean in order to bring gamers what should be the greatest Rock Band titles to date!

I'm sorry I don't see any Rock Band being the "greatest ever" when you are only offered one band's music. If you don't like the beatles your screwed aren't you? No matter how many bands and songs you hated on the previous rockbands their were always more that you did like. Not interested.

Awesome! I like to see them going for older music from the 60's and 70's. That stuff is timeless. Jack Thompson won't be happy if Helter Skelter is on it. "It will cause kids to join a cult and go on crazy killing sprees!"

I dislike the Beatles. Their songs are just so hollow, so meaningless, and overall there is just such a lack of talent.

@18. Because they want to charge you $60 for what is no more than them simply putting songs on a disc (no need for upgraded graphics, etc) and make your current setup seem inferior when they release a prettier, cooler version of drums/guitar, etc. I'm not buying this crap. I'm pulling out my real guitar. FWIW, I did love Rock Band but It's getting a little old.
