Capcom has unloaded fresh details on Thursday’s Resident Evil 5 launch party in San Francisco, indicating that fans can expect some “new game announcements” at the event.
Kicking off at 8pm in Union Square, the launch party runs through until midnight and gives fans the opportunity to win prizes and get some hands on time with the game thanks to the playable kiosks on offer.
To top it off, you’ll also be able to meet some of the talent behind the action shooter, including Chris, Sheva and Josh’s voice/mo-cap actor, as well as having friendly natter with RE5’s development team, including producer Jun Takeuchi.
As for the new game announcements? Your guess is as good as ours. However, we’re personally hoping for an exclusive PSP outing after all these years, or perhaps a full-blown RE2 remake for PS3. Then again, there’s also the strong possibility of another Wii instalment in the series, too.
Stay tuned.
