F.E.A.R. 2 Toy Soldiers DLC will be free in April

Earlier in the month, Microsoft accidentally released F.E.A.R. 2's Toy Soldiers downloadable content onto the XBL Marketplace. This confusion set some forums ablaze as it looked as though the competition had scored not only another form of exclusive DLC, but content at the very respectable cost of free. Thankfully, this DLC was pulled hours later and a press release was sent out in order to clarify the situation.

According to Monolith Productions, the Toy Soldiers DLC is scheduled for release on the XBLA and PlayStation Store in April. Furthermore, keeping to the honest pricing of the slipped up release, this content will be free of charge.

The Toy Soldiers pack shrinks soldiers into 6" soldiers who must go to war in a pinball machine, hospital room, and playground. The tiny spin on this huge supernatural thriller is a lighthearted twist to a gory game that should add a longer shelf life to the game.

Microsoft seems to be having errors with DLC lately. First they accidentally release Toy Cars in Burnout Paradise, and now this.

How would 6" figures be that small compared to a pinball machine?

Sweet! Free! Cool! Looks like worthwhile DLC too. I'm playing it after CoD:W@W. I'm working on 100%, and veteran difficulty is friggin murder, but I only have the last 2 levels to go until my platinum trophy!
