Takeuchi: Capcom looking into other platforms for Lost Planet 2

Speaking in an interview with GameDaily, Capcom's Jun Takeuchi revealed that the publisher is currently investigating other platforms for Lost Planet 2.
The game was officially revealed a few weeks ago via Xbox Live for the PC and Xbox 360, but it was thought that a PlayStation 3 version would be confirmed shortly after.
Takeuchi was then asked about the current economic climate, saying he's confident that the industry is less susceptible to the downturn.
“I agree with the theory that the game industry is far less susceptible to the current economic downturn, and the market appears to have proven the theory,” said Takeuchi.
Hopefully an announcement regarding a PS3 version of Lost Planet 2 isn’t far off.

no its a Wii version , otherwise they will say it loud and clear " for the Play Station 3 " ... we saw how the PS3 verion of RE5 did an outstanding job in japan ... but they also side that they'r trying to reach to more western gamers ... means maybe Wii, DSi or PSP version of the game .. but i dont think they are doing a PS3 version

U don't make games for ps3 then we don't want u either. but lost planet it not a lost so keep it. we know u like to suck up to xcrap360 anyway.

Come on Capcom you can see clearly with SFIV and RE5 that the PS3 is your main source of income .....just announce the damn game for the PS3 and stop playing hide games with MS money.

I thought it was already confirmed that Lost PLanet 2 was coming out for the PS3. WTF? Hey, btw anybody know if Mass Effect 2 is coming out for PS3 for sure or not?

the first one was crap imo and what the h e ll does that statement he made about the industry have to do with a ps3 version of lost planet 2??? Not only that but didn't capcom say when dmc4 was released that they were a multiplat company??? this article is all kinds of messed up lol

I wouldn't believe anything Capcom says they cleary but not said it out loud said we are not making a ps3 version Capcom is all about money now a days so they think going with the 360 will be the right move even through they clearly lied about all their games being mutiplat theirjust like sucking on microsoft balls
