Electronic Arts announced today that it has pencilled in Dante’s Inferno for release in 2010.
The publisher also confirmed that Starz Media will be creating a special animated feature film based on the title, though no release date for the project was given. Eagle eyed readers should recognise Starz as the same folk responsible for churning out the Dead Space cartoons.
“The feature-length project will expand on the story in EA’s new, must-have game coming out for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system in 2010,” a statement reads.
Dante’s Inferno will available for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 platforms.

They need this time for an overhaul on the graphics department. The art style is no excuse for an atrocious polygon count.
