Street Fighter Alpha leads PSone chart on PSN

Sony has confirmed via Gamasutra that retro brawler Street Fighter Alpha is the best selling PSone title currently available on PlayStation Network.

Konami’s Castlevania: Symphony of the Night managed second place, followed by old school Sony mascot, Crash Bandicoot, in third. Other highlights include Spyro the Dragon and Twisted Metal 2.

6. Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped

So far this year we’ve yet to see any new PSone titles grace PSN, though Sony has previously said it aims to deliver fresh content soon. Watch this space.

    PSP needs loads of mini games to download for cheap from the psp store. Like on the new DSi.  Thats what they need to do.

    And maybe let people publicly buy a dev kit and submit their own games to the store like on iphone/ipod touch.

     Castlevania: SotN rules.  Should be #1 on that spot.  SFA is good too though.

    In the Uk, Magic Carpet has been added to the PSone classics list. Not what I would call a classic but it has been this year.

    I heard that they are doing a TWISTED METAL for PS3(Exclusive) people look it up on Gamespy.com really no one believes me! PSN  Augie90

    why do i have an empty post?  anyway i got street fighter from psn and love it, now just waiting for silent hill, lets go sony, get with the program and give us some more games
