Dev Diary for Alpha Protocol leaves us wanting more

  • Posted April 4th, 2009 at 19:09 EDT by

In this Dev Diary, Chris Parker describes how Alpha Protocol is attempting to be unlike any other role-playing game created. Fortunately, this includes an experience that is both action-oriented and twitchy in the decision making process. Our only concern in regards to Alpha Protocol is the history that Obsidian has shown in the past with Neverwinter Nights 2 and KoToR 2, where many fans of those franchises felt the developer never created a truly finished experience. However, with the latest gameplay trailer and this developer diary, we've regained some hope for this upcoming title. Featuring realistic locations, a modern-day spy experience and choices that change the outcome of the game later on down the road, Obsidian may just deliver in the end.

As expected, we've included the dev diary below.
