Villepreux: Blood Bowl PS3 could happen if game sells well

Speaking during an interview with Strategy Informer, Project Manager Antoine Villepreux from Cyanide revealed that a PlayStation 3 version of Blood Bowl might be on the cards provided the game is a success on other formats.

"Well there’s one very simple reason for the PS3: We’ve never done a PS3 game before. It would have been a big risk for us, and we’ve already got a lot of investment going into the other four platforms we are doing. Of course we are not against the idea: If the game is a big success, then why not?" said Villepreux.

Blood Bowl is a fantasy team sport game based on Warhammer and American Football. Gamers are given a chance to form a team of players from races such as Orcs, Elves, Humans, Dwarfs and many other fantasy creatures, and launch themselves into battle in the bloodiest of arenas.

So far the game has only been announced for the Xbox 360, PC, DS and PSP. Would you be interested in a PS3 version? Be sure to let us know in the comments section below.
