Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is coming to America on June 2, according to Kotaku. The Blu-ray movie was released in Japan in April and featured a playable demo of the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII. Unfortunately, the U.S. version, which costs $38.96, will not feature a demo; instead, viewers will get a new trailer.
The U.S. version of Advent Children Complete features the original voice cast, Rachel Leigh Cook and Mena Suvari, an additional 26 minutes of bonus footage, and one thousand new scenes. Extras include a documentary, a new featurette, and a 25-minute original anime short. The short, "On the Way to a Smile – Episode: Denzel," is the story of Denzel before the events of Advent Children.
There are no details about a European release date yet. We’ll be sure to keep you updated when we get more information.
