Ratchet & Clank content confirmed for LittleBigPlanet

Sony has revealed that Ratchet and Clank-themed content is in the pipeline for Media Molecule’s critically acclaimed LittleBigPlanet.
Speaking to Eurogamer, the platform holder confirmed that the content is “in the works,” adding, “But we don't have any further details at this time." The firm was responding to comments posted by Media Molecule’s Alex Evans on Insomniac’s Twitter page.
"lbp levells coming, r&c content done, coming soon hopefully, up next for mm, big pack, bigger than mgs even,” wrote Evans. Sadly that’s all the details we have at this point, though expect further info to pop up in the not too distant future.

This is good news. The LittleBigPlanet add-on content is all about bringing new functionality into the game, and because R&C has such innovative weapons, I'm expecting that we will see some great new objects find their way into the "Character Enhancements" section in LBP Create Mode. Just look at the insane amount of levels the Paintinator spurred. There are so many possibilities to be opened up here. A new paintinator-esque weapon that allows for objects other than paintballs is what I'm hoping for, but throw any weapon from R&C into this game and I'll be a happy camper.
