Fans of Wolfenstein 3D will only have to wait until June 5 to get their hands on this Nazi-killing classic -- on their PS3s, no less. The game will be released on the PlayStation Network two months prior to the release of the new Wolfenstein game.
In Wolfenstein 3D, you'll get a chance to play through all six episodes spanning 60 levels. Who doesn't want to kill Hans Grosse and Mecha-Hitler just one more time? Plus, this time around, there's a twist: those who play through the classic game again will earn "accolades and be awarded gold for customizable weapon upgrades" in the new Wolfenstein game, slated for August 7.
There's no word at this time about how much the downloadable game will cost, but we'll keep you posted.

Wow, I'm feeling really nostalgic about this one, even though I beat through all of the episodes and "The Spear of Destiny" I will still buy this one.

No freaking way! First Carmack says PS3 was better for those who put the effort into it (a shock in itself) and then we finally get wolfenstein... It's like the world is coming to an end.
