Activision unveils all Guitar Hero 5 artists

Activision today revealed all of Guitar Hero 5's artists on the game's official website. If we counted correctly, a rather impressive 83 bands and artists will appear on the game's disc, with weekly downloadable content adding more following the game's September 1, 2009 release. Over 30 of the artists have never been featured in Guitar Hero before.

Nice list: but why not just continue to update your previous games?
The game really doesnt get MUCH better by the title, so this is just a pass for me.

Its okay buts there's the horrible bands like Kaiser Chiefs, Vampire Weekend?? , Kings of Leon GOD SO MANY BORING BANDS. Again no Power Metal like Blind Guardian,Sonata Arctica, Dragonland and Rhapsody WHY? they obviously blow every band ever out of the water !

I see a few newcomers to the video game world, Dire Straits, Johnny Cash, Peter Frampton, and Tom Petty. Awesome additions. Hopefully Rock Band gets them because I'm not buying GH. Heck, I haven't even played RB in months.
