Square Enix has said that the company is ‘targeting’ a 2010 release for the PAL version of Final Fantasy XIII.
The hotly anticipated RPG hits Japanese retailers later this year, with a North American version scheduled for release in spring 2010. A European release date has yet to be confirmed, though director Motomu Toriyama informed Kotaku at E3 that it’s aiming to have the game out in that region at some point next year.
Traditionally, PAL gamers have received the short end of the release stick with past iterations, with Final Fantasy XII in particular taking a full year to reach European shores following the Japanese release.
Let’s hope Europeans won't have to wait until Christmas 2010 to get their hands on the game.

I swear if this game doesn't have original Japanese audio/English subs I'm going to burn down Squeenix headquarters and send Microsoft employees death threats.

And what about versus. They havent shown anything of the gameplay. If FFXIII is going to be released in 2010 then i am afraid and quite sure that versus is going to end up being released in 2011. Tho well one FF game can keep you going for at least 100hrs plus of gaming.
