Those of you hoping to clap eyes on Dead Rising 2 anytime soon in wake of the game’s absence at E3 are in for a disappointment – Capcom has revealed it has no plans to showcase the zombie sequel again until the Tokyo Game Show.
Essentially, this means we won’t be seeing the title appear at both Gamescon and the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX), which take place in August and September, respectively.
“You’re gonna be seeing Dead Rising 2 next at Tokyo Game Show,” Capcom’s Chris Kramer told MTV. “Lost Planet 2 will have all new stuff at Tokyo Game Show, and also a couple new titles from us, as well as updates of the stuff we showed at E3.”
Dead Rising is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A release date has yet to be announced.
