The PlayStation Eye game EyePet is heading to the U.S. in time for the holidays, according to a report by Joystiq. We first heard about the game last year when we learned the often overlooked Eye peripheral was getting a new interactive pet game. At the time, the title was only announced for Europe.

It appears the game is heading to America as either a standalone or bundled with the PlayStation Eye camera. In the game you are tasked with raising a kitten or a puppy. You can wiggle your finger, hold objects, and create movement in front of the Eye to interact with your pet.

We are certainly happy to hear the game is heading to the U.S. and will be available before the end of the year.

@1 speak for yourself. While I can't see myself spending hours on this thing, it's gonna be GREAT to pull out at parties, and the technology is really interesting.

Yes, you are right.. Of course people are entitled to their own opinion. LAAAAAAAAAAAAAME (not talking about the game ofc). Try writing a little bit more constructive next time instead of just "polluting"...

@9 then you should try "this look lame to me".  not just a single word characterising the game as lame. then next time a person like bobtheduck wont tell you to speak for your self.

my lil nephew would like this like he do LBP.

This will definitely be so amazing for little kids.  I'm even interested in this....only because of the technology....and yeah, the damn thing is too cute.  But really, my gf just a couple of days ago, asked me 'when is that pet game coming out'?  Its odd that more game developers havent realized this yet....something the movie industry found out long ago....kids stuff is gold.  look at the box office numbers of new movies.....if a kids movie came out that week,  it dominated.  Nintendo knows all about this also.  One more thing....I'm wondering what kind of sick things you guys are going to do to this poor little animal.
