Zombies won't appear in Modern Warfare 2 DLC

Infinity Ward has poured cold water over any hopes of seeing the undead show up in future Modern Warfare 2 downloadable content.
Fans of the Call of Duty franchise have become well acquainted with zombies following their introduction in World at War, where players could take down hordes of undead Nazis.
However, those hoping to see the dead rise from the battlefield for Modern Warfare 2 may be disappointed to learn that Infinity Ward aren't keen on following up on the idea: "There will be no Nazis or zombies in any piece of Modern Warfare 2 downloadable content,” said the company.
Still, given that developer Treyarch is supposedly working on the next instalment in the series (the team responsible for introducing our rotting friends in the first place), there’s every chance we’ll be splattering zombie brain matter across the shop again in the future.

MW2 is terrible anyway so be quiet
MW2 i got 100s of nukes its so easy i think a chimp could beat some noobs online
Anyone who plays MW2 is crap at the cod series WAW, COD4 are skillful not mw2 example of cod match " begin run to hiding spot camp, kill someone,get killed, go and camp in the same spot, 20 care packages fall on everyones head, game ends due to crappy IW servers" so you see that why MW2 is a terribley awful game!

Zombies are cool if done right... that means no running zombies and they have to actually scare you

Wow, that would give me an actual reason to pop the disk back in... It's a good game, and way over hyped. Seriously, when it comes to FPS action Killzone 2 pwns MW2. No campers, no glitchers, spectacular graphics, awesome sci-fi art direction, and the ability to play my own music, plus there are a lot less annoying litttle kids with mics. Killzone 2 is where it's at when it comes to FPS gaming on the PS3... for me atleast. Also, I sort of regret getting MW2 now, since BFBC2 looks really similar, and features vehicles and destructable environments... I dunno. I'll most likely work on getting more of the trophies before I ever really think about trading it in. On a side note, bring on Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Deadspace 2, and Fallout New Vegas! Only a few of the amazing games that are coming this year!

WaW is so much better than MW2. Both single and multiplayer. There were hardly any glitches in it. Roll on COD:Vietnam. Although by that time Medal of Honor will be out so we'll see.

wow IW have stated that there would be no zombies in MW... they said it soo many times it's quite surreal to think how people still haven't got the message. Zombies is treyarchs... IW even said so that this was the case.
what i want to know is if there are any spec op missions coming in DLC... this imo was the only good thing for MW2.

I have yet to play anythign but MP for MW2. This will not change, and i will soon be picking up MAG. Also, i will never buy any DLC for COD; it is just plain overpriced.

Being a horror junky, I think zombies can make anything better. I'm still hooked on MW2, but I'm stoked to see some new maps. Hopefully, a lack of zombies will mean a new co-operative experience and/or expansion of Spec Ops.

ahhh too bad IW was thinking about getting the dlc if it was good like zombies or something...ah well looks like ill be sticking with bfbc2...i think the demo is better than mw2 online that lets me no bfbc2 will be a hit

I'm very happy to see that Infinity Wards won't be doing zombie thing with MW2, since they would scrap it like they did with their sequel. Let Treyarch do the job with Call of Duty: Vietnam (Not official title) since they are responsible for the integration of the mod with COD WaW. I think they would do a better job thand IW. Treyarch rocks in my opinion. Bash on me if you want to!!!

I'd like to see a MW3 W@W2, With Biological warfare,viral, a-bombs guns & hordes of INFECTED (not dead) running screaming trying to save their own lives as you take them out to risk infection as you take out the real enemies with guns and carrying their country's flag

I know people would like to get Nazi Zombies as a stand alone game, and Im sure I would even get it just for the h*ll of it, but seriously...it's fun and awesome, yea..but for how long? It gets lame and boring real quickly. Well if it should go as stand alone game, and they would really make it bigger and better, I would totally gonna get it. But as it is now, MW2 don't need it - if you like Nazi Zombies just like it is right now, play Nazi Zombies in WaW.....Im just saying..
