Pool skaters throw down in latest Skate 3 gameplay

With the third installment of Electronic Arts' skateboarding series nearly here, more gameplay has begun to roll out of the game's official blog.
In this latest clip of the week, pool skaters are the focus. Though the off-board animations are as awkward as ever, the rest of the game looks buttery smooth, with improved character models, environments, and skate animations. The video also showcases the ability to drop into a pool or halfpipe from its lip, which, oddly, wasn't present in the first two games. Finally, the last shot of the video provides a sneak peak at the 'object dropper.' Check out the clip by clicking right here (Ed. note: it refuses to embed on the page itself, sorry about that).

We have no control over what ads appear on the site; an ad agency takes care of that. It's not unusual to see 360 adverts on PlayStation websites, and it's also not unusual to see PlayStation ads on Xbox websites. There's a universal "game" category that these sorts of ads fall under in the advertising world, and that's as specific as it gets.

i think they should really work on the offboard movements and controls before they put this game out. to be fair it isnt a walking game, it is a skating game, but with the money we pay surely we should be able to get better offboard controls from the 2nd game (loved it btw) oh a #6 how stupid are you?
