LittleBigPlanet 2 shows up on musician's Twitter

Those of you gagging for a second helping of SackBoy and his knitted chums may be in for a treat, as it appears the folks at Media Molecule are indeed working on a sequel to the critically acclaimed LittleBigPlanet – that is, if we’re to believe a Twitter post by musician Ochre.

The post itself reveals that the electronic maestro has licensed a song entitled ‘Infotain Me’ to Sony for use with LittleBigPlanet 2. Unsurprisingly, the post claims that the sequel will be released on PlayStation 3. See below for a shot of the page.

Of course, there is a chance that Ochre may have got his wires crossed somewhere along the line, and the LittleBigPlanet 2 he was speaking of may in fact be downloadable content for the original game, or the Move-compatible LittleBigPlanet Motion.

Still, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a fully-fledged sequel. Stay tuned for more information as we get it.
