Dead Space 2 gets official release date

Dead Space 2 has an official release date, which is right around the corner, if you consider the New Year a corner. The game is set to drop on Jan. 25, 2011 in North America and Jan. 28, 2011 in Europe.
EA and Visceral Games originally slated the release for a generic early 2011 window, but now we know when we’ll get our hands on this survival-horror treat.
A demo was showcased at EA’s presser, and the second part of that demo will be shown during Sony’s press conference tomorrow.
