Sony Online Entertainment has staple-gunned a North American release date to its upcoming super-hero MMO DC Universe Online, confirming the game will hit U.S. shores on November 2, 2010.

The company previously commented that it was aiming for a November release date for the hotly anticipated title, though wouldn’t commit to anything more specific than that.

DC Universe Online will be released for PC and PlayStation 3, and features a top voice cast including the likes of Mark Hamill, James Marsters and Adam Baldwin.

Nov. 2nd - Gran Turismo 5 & DC Universe Online

Nov. 9th - Call of Duty: Black Ops

    Nov. 16th - Assassin's Creed Brotherhood & LittleBigPlanet 2

I don't think this game will do too well against some of the greatest etablished and most anticipated franchises ever created... Especially being pay to play, they have no hope. I may get it, but a lot of games have priority over this.

@ 3 completely agree. what a squandered oppurtunity. not that im completely against pay to play but at least show the consumers more of your game and implore them to find a reason to pay 15 a month. so far i'm only running on the POTENTIAL this game could have. i mean it looks like a pretty decent mmo and i love playing these types of games with my friends. however the combat is very lackluster and im pretty sure the story wont be anything to brag about either. i mean... what else is left? =P

Is this the real reason the PS3 version of FF14 is delayed a whole SIX-AND-A-HALF MONTHS after the PC version?!  No matter.  It won't be as good as FF14, and FF14 will be cheaper per-month (not that it matters to any of you broke guys).
