EA today announced Create, a new family-oriented game that is geared toward giving players the tools to create. Create will be available in November on the PlayStation 3 with Move support, Wii, Xbox 360, PC and MAC.
“Create uses families’ imaginations to develop new ways to play together that are both fun and challenging,” said Harvey Elliott, VP and General Manager at EA Bright Light, the studio developing Create. “We wanted to design a game where the entire family can explore, decorate, and solve challenges where no solution is wrong and the only limit is the imagination.”
The game features level-based challenges and puts world customization in player’s hands. Players will design environments and share their creations online. Your friends will be able to remix solutions and set challenges for other players to download.
From the sound of it, Create has a definite LittleBigPlanet feel.

EA is no stranger to these types of games, guys. The thing is, is LBP is more about create compared to this, it's Technical in every way compared to this game. There is no way that this will even compete with LBP. What does EA have so far, the Tycoon series, Sim City, The Sims, this will be no different really.
If they think this will be in a league with LBP, they have a prayer, seriously. Not only is this going to be another pump and dump game, but they don't support their games like MM does with LBP

Reminds me of the first LBP, though this looks good for the other consoles, LBP 2 kinda says NO to this on PS3 like God of War 3 said to Dante's Inferno.

Based on what you siad in the article, I do not see any correlation with LBP other than the word CREATE was used. If you have more information that lead you to this conclusion please share.

Ahh, seems to be too more puzzle-orientated to be a clone of LittleBigPlanet. Seems like a clever little game, particularly for casual/family audiences.
As long a no-one tries to rip-off/replicate LittleBigPlanet (and bring such versatile creativity tools to PlayStations rivals), I'm OK with it.
