Electronic Arts has revealed that its upcoming Medal of Honor reboot has achieved more pre-orders than any other title in the series’ history, with the game cementing itself as one of the company’s top “pre-selling” action games of all-time.
The shooter marks the franchise’s much anticipated transition from WWII-era combat to a more contemporary setting, with the action taking place in war-torn Afghanistan.
It’s also attracted a fair bit of controversy along the way; primarily due to the fact players can assume the role of the Taliban during multiplayer events. EA’s also let slip that the game would have to shift in the region of three million copies in order to get a sequel out the door.
Medal of Honor is pencilled in for release on October 15.

@5, October 12 for USA and October 15 for UK I believe.
Also, it was a beta. Beta meaning not a demo, to many people on consoles treat beta's as a demo which is not the case. Beta was a very early build, even more early then the E3 showing. Beta = not a demo, I don't know how many more times I can stress this, but no matter how many people say it's not a beta, other's ignore it for some silly reason.

Yea... dats good.. who is interested in WW2 games anyway? Modern Warfare games are da best (just to be clear.. I am not talking about Call of Duty franchise.. yea its the best but i am talking about any game that has a modern war game as of now.. ). I just hope this game can beat Black Ops.. Black Ops looks good but its Activision man.. -_- even though Treyarch makes them.. its still from Activision.. so i am gonna stick with infinity ward and respawn and EA's Medal of Honor.. ^_^
