[UPDATE] PSU’s Fall Giveaway Spectacular: Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

UPDATE: We have picked a winner for our latest competition. First, we’d like to apologize for the delay, but we had so many great responses, it made for a lengthy decision-making process. Thank you all for participating.

Before we announce the winner, we’d like to let you know we are going to start a small series of articles that look at the videogame industry from the people who actually work inside of it—not from journalists and reporters like us, but from actual videogame writers, designers, developers, etc. Look for this series soon because it’s clear from the responses below that many of our readers have some great ideas for games.

PSU would like to congratulate the following winner:

22: J-MON

Thank you all for entering. The winner will be contacted via the email used to register for PSU. Look for another competition later this week

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Another week and another competition in our Fall Giveaway Spectacular. This week brings us to one of our favorite recent action games, not so much because the gameplay is earth shattering, but because we just love road stories.

You know the rules:

* You must be 18-years or older.
* You must be registered with PSU.
* You must be respectful of everyone (we may ask you to do some outrageous stuff along this journey).
* Finally, you can only win once in this series of giveaways.

To win a copy of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, we are looking for something very specific. You see, the whole “end of the world” idea seems done to death, and while we liked the sci-fi take that Enslaved brought to the notion, we want to see a game explore different themes. The key: it must be a road story—we don’t want any Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or On the Road rip-offs, either. We know you have some clever ideas, so let’s hear it.

Pitch us, briefly as possible, a story for a new game based on the road story idea. We want it to be unique and we want to see that you put some thought into it. The winner will be announced on Nov. 2, so take your time to enter with some thoughtful responses.

Good luck!
