Way back in 2005, when the God of War series was still blasting through its diapers, Senior Level Designer Jonathan Hawkins was tasked with creating the city of Atlantis. At that time, the level was cut from God of War II, but Hawkins went on to create some excellent moments in the game, including the Grapple Bridge event.
Check out the video below to watch Hawkins show off his level. You can relive the 2005 hit through the God of War Anthology on the PlayStation Network. The anthology includes the digital version of God of War Collection (which holds HD versions of the original two PS2 games), along with add-on, videos, and other Kratos-inspired features.
Make sure you check out our review of God of War: Ghost of Sparta for the PSP.

While Atlantis is great in Ghost of Sparta, I wish it was like this and was a underwater city (like rapture). In Ghost of Sparta it's just a normal city that ends up sinking (that shouldn't be a spoiler if you're up to date on your GoW info lol).
