Sony plans 'exclusive PS3 reveal' for next month, Uncharted 3 to debut at VGAs?

Sony’s teased that the platform holder will be hosting a special event in Hollywood on December 12 – that’s the day after Spike’s VGAs, in case you didn’t know – for an “exclusive PlayStation 3 reveal.”
As expected, the company is remaining tight-lipped in regards to any further details, though the chaps at Kotaku speculate that the mystery project is none other than a third instalment in the critically acclaimed Uncharted franchise from Naughty Dog.
According to the site, a few select members of the gaming press have already clapped eyes on Nathan Drake’s latest outing, and the game is expected to make its video debut at the VGAs on December 11. As such, there’s a chance Sony may be cooking up an extended look at Uncharted 3 for its Hollywood event the next day.
On the flip side, it could be something entirely different altogether, though we’ll just have to wait and see. It’s worth remembering that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves got its formal reveal at the VGAs back in 2008, though.

2 days to vegas please! I cnt stop thinking of this game so f**king give it to me already! But i would still really love to know when uncharted 3 comes out and what they plan to do with it. If either of these games is the story then Ill be a happy panda

I'd rather it be JAX and Daxter. The only MGS game that is exclusive to the ps brand is MGS4 which was meh anyway.

PLEASE let it be Uncharted 3!
My girlfriend of 3 months just finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and couldn't wait to dive into Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Watching her play, I realized just how much I enjoyed it the first 7 times I beat it. I had forgotten how good the single player was. Now I'm jonesing hard for a new Drake adventure.

I'm bout to speculate here, my guess is uncharted 3, metal gear solid 5, ff7 remake, ff versus13, and gow4 really hoping on one of these.

I would hope to see UC3 unveiled VGA's then the new thing announced the day after be something completely different. But seeing it's supposed to be big hollywood party, it probably has to be UC3.
I love the Uncharted series, and have both games and will most definantly buy the third day 1. But We need new games too not sequels.
We got an exclusive new Big IP/'s every year so far, but I have yet to hear one for 2011.

Come on sony we need a new IP for 2011. I would like to see a new IP revealed at the hollywood party and UC3 revealed at VGA's

hopefully they are right and it's Uncharted 3 or a new IP from Naughty Dog with the same mechanics as the Uncharted games.

@9 How is ff versus 13 a reveal?
At any rate,I'd laugh if while everyone is here guessing that it'd be uncharted 3 or heavenly sword 2, the actual game is something completely unexpected...like a new shinobe or something lmao. but then again not sure if that would be something Hollywood worthy. Something's keeping me from believing it'd be UC3 though. -
