Douglas wants Albert Wesker role in Resident Evil 6

DC Douglas, the voice behind Resident Evil’s blonde-haired antagonist Albert Wesker, has expressed interest in reprising his role for the next instalment in Capcom’s venerable survival horror franchise.

Douglas, who has been voicing the enigmatic villain since 2007’s Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, let slip that he’s heard rumbling of Resident Evil 6 being in the works, and fancies a role in the sequel.

Chatting with the folks at Hell Descent, Douglas commented, “Hell yeah! I know RE6 is in the works, so hopefully I’ll get a chance to audition for it… or you guys could bug Capcom into casting me in it!”

News on Resident Evil 6 has been thin on the ground as of late, though former Capcom dev boss Keiji Inafune said last year that details on the follow-up would arrive “shortly.” That was before TGS, mind, and nothing has cropped up since.

Still, Douglas might want to replay Resident Evil 5 and reacquainted himself with the fact a return for Wesker might prove a little difficult. We’ll say no more just in case you haven’t played it for yourself.

I hated that guys voice I even hated it when he kept saying CHRIS would make my teeth grind I liked the voice of R.E 1 on PSOne that was more better, but I agree I dont want to be killing him again he was a *&*(&*%& in R.E 5 and annoying too.

Code veronica wesker was the best. Hopefully he does return because RE without Wesker would not seem right.

He have one of the best voices for a bad guy, Wesker and Kessler from inFAMOUS. Capcom shouldn't have killed off Wesker to began with, thats if hes dead since the rockets flew past him.

I read that article and he is just answering a question that would he like to come back. On his facebook page he said he wasn't confirming re6, that people misunderstood. You all should check out his page. http://www.facebook.com/pages/DC-Douglas-Actor-Voice-Over-Artist/120486757436?ref=nf

If wesker is coming back, douglas will be a good voice(and dont blame him because he keeps saying chris, he didn't write the punchlines)

ok now if they make a RE6 it will be a prequal to RE1. now if they do this dc douglas will be able to play as wesker because they could make wesker the main character we play as in the game. now i know wesker is a d****e bag but he just wants what every body wants right? and that would be super human powers and imortality! now tell me you dont want that? haha didnt think so. but any ways, i love the RE series. it is really my all time favorite RPG game next to the Silent Hill series. but RE is still on top heehee XD. i would love to play as wesker, he is a great character and has a lot of personality and thought put into his character so he would be a great idea for the main character!

it is completely in capcom writers hands and to people who say it is impossible for wesker to return i say there are many ways for writers to revive wesker like all that last part of RE5 was Chris`s dream or explosion threw wesker out of lava or the veronica virus that wesker took in RE Code Veronica gave wesker huge resistance against fire and also we should not forget Ada Wong.maybe she helped wesker in some way.but i think RE without wesker can not be a interesting game and i personally love wesker to return.WESKER IS RESIDENT EVIL and RESIDENT EVIL IS WESKER
