Sony has swooped in with a meaty patch for its superhero MMO DC Universe Online today, among which includes tweaks to the game’s voice chat option.

In addition, the console maker also rolled out a heap of hotfixes for your consumption, all of which are detailed below. The changes apply to both North American and European territories.

-Abilities: Psychic Empowerment now properly restores power.
-Abilities: Performing a dodge roll will no longer dodge healing abilities.
-Challenges: Power Girl now drops loot in the level 30 Challenge Mode for Storming the Ivory Tower.
-Faction Rewards: Villain faction rewards now only require Marks of Allegiance and no longer require an unavailable badge type.
-Feats: Any feat that requires a specific number of PvP wins should now be granted properly after the correct number of wins.
-Trait Resets: If you reset traits while in a different shape change form you will no longer remain stuck in that form.
-Trait Resets: All buffs cast by the player character from abilities granted by traits will now be removed when resetting traits.
-Trait Resets: Resetting traits with a weapon type equipped that was earned by a trait (i.e. not the weapon type chosen at character create) will no longer continue to give the stats of the equipped weapon with no basic abilities.
-Now all stats will be removed from equipped weapons for which you do not have the required trait. In this situation, you should have the same basic punching abilities that you get if you unequip your weapon. Purchasing the trait to grant access to that weapon type again will now restore those stats

The fact that you have to pay for a game that you already bought kept me from ever even considering buying this game.  What could they possibly provide for $15 a month? That's just a few bucks short of being able to pay for Netflix and Gamefly . There is no way any one game could be that entertaining.

@ Maikel.. Quit trolling. bsheighway isn't conserned with the affordability of the game. Obviously he's concerned with what they are doing with that 15 dollars. And besides, voice chat is a major part of an online only game.  What's the point in playing with your friends if you can't communicate what you're going to do next.... Well if you don't have any friends I guess that wouldn't matter to you now would it?

What gives Maikel the right to tell others to shut up about the game? People are entitled to express their views on why the game doesn't represent good enough value for them to purchase it. There may be many people out there who'd like the game or some of it, or a single player campaign, but don't like the charges as they currently are.

Surely they are entitled to the right to speak? It's pretty rude to act as though they don't and doesn't say much for those who say it.

Please GAME DIRECTORS read this because I REALLY REALLY want this game to be the best mmorpg..so I asked ALOT of players in the DC universe facebook page..and they said its GREAT action game but now they will not pay for the next month..but if you make the changes that we want to happen we will PAY for LONG LIFE PLAYING,,TRUST US AND WE ALL GOING TO BE HAPPY : 1- Different kind of quests because they are predictable. 2- Auction house. 3- more than four players raids or quests like 10,15, even 20 would be epic. and fix the voice chat

@ daniel_s_02 - First of all i am not *trolling* and Second i am sick and tired of Overhearing som (people) saying that they will not buy the game for 60$ and then pay 15$ to play. it`s a MMORPG online game What Did You Expect ?.

have you seen a Good MMO game for free ? (NO!) you havent every MMO game for free it a load of crap! and yes i will like them to fix the  voice chat System but that doesn't mean that the game is Not good and that i will not play and pay for it - if you dont like the game then dont buy it and Shut the f*** up!!

@ C A Iversen - What gives **Maikel** the right to tell others to shut up about the game - dude What gives otherpeople the right to tell others that the game sucks ? can you please explain me that...

if other people that havent even played the game is Allowed to do say that - then my friend i have all my right to tell them (Shut the f*** up)
