Square’s announced that Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection will be hitting European stores on April 22, 2011.

If that wasn’t enough to get RPG aficionados’ frothing at the mouth, the publisher also revealed that you’ll be able to pick up a swanky Special Edition version of the game, as pictured below. The set offers a fold-out box, art cards, PSP screen cloth plus DLC for Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy.

For those out of the loop, FFIV: The Complete Collection chucks in the original game and its sequel, The After Years, in one pint-sized PSP package.

Aside from enhanced visuals, it’ll include full CGI cut scenes in addition to an all-new scenario that offers a link between both games.

I'd buy this on the PS3, but I don't bother with the psp anymore. It is not easy to find this kind of game on PS3 to be honest, but on psp they are more common - I'm just not a fan of portable gaming now as I don't sit on trains or have long boring lunch breaks.
