F1 2011 will be speeding into stores on September 23, publishing giant Codemasters has revealed.
The racer is due out on multiple platforms including PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, with NGP and 3DS versions also in the pipeline.
Currently in development at Codemasters Birmingham, F1 2011 chucks in all 12 teams and 24 drivers from the 2011 season, and offers up 19 tracks including India’s fresh-faced Jaypee Group Circuit.
The previous instalment in the series, F1 2010, proved a critical and commercial success, with reviewers hailing the racer as one of the best F1 outings in years. With that in mind, let's hope the franchise doesn't suffer a puncture with this latest instalment.

Same here im a fan of the sport but i prefer the game only thing is i get bored half way through a season because my Virgin Racing car finished in the top 4 again!! I do find the performance difference of the cars lacking. What would really get me interested though is a 2 player multiplayer mode where you and a Friend could be team mates at a team and to do a proper season together online with team orders and everything lol....that would be top!
