Deus Ex: Human Revolution gets "extremely limited" collector's edition

Square Enix today announced the special collector’s edition for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Releasing in "select European countries" as well as Australia and New Zealand, the Human Revolution collector’s edition is now available for pre-order ahead of the game's release in August.

Square Enix describes the product as "extremely limited" and the "ultimate experience" for fans of the franchise.

The collector’s edition contains an Adam Jenson action figure alongside a new mission pack, exclusive in-game weapons and 10,000 credits, which can be spent on upgrades.

The full content of the collector’s edition is as follows:

• Highly collectable Adam Jensen action figurine designed by Play Arts Kai
• Explosive Mission Pack: An entirely new mission with a special cameo appearance from one of the original DEUS EX characters
• Exclusive in-game weapons: Automatic Unlocking Device, M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device (UR-DED), Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher, Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, SERSR Longsword Whisperhead silenced sniper rifle
• 10,000 extra credits to buy or upgrade weapons
• DVD featuring a 44-minute making of special, 30-minute game soundtrack, motion-comic (adapted from DC Comics’ official series), E3 trailer and animated storyboard
• 40-page art book

Deus Ex is set for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on August 26, 2011.
