Modern Warfare 3 engine promises 'lots of cool stuff'

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has teased that fans can expect heaps of ‘cool stuff’ in regards to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game engine.

While not exactly spilling the beans on what Infinity Ward has up its sleeves, Bowling confirmed that the development team has moved on from MW2's engine.

"We haven't gone into detail on the engine yet but we've moved beyond the MW2 engine and added a lot of cool stuff for #MW3," he wrote on Twitter.

Modern Warfare 3 is due for release on November 8, and looks set to take gamers on a globe-trotting fire fight spanning locations such as London, New York City, and Washington.
