Race Driver: GRID PS3, PC online play discontinued

Codemasters has binned online play for the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Race Driver: GRID, the published confirmed today.
Despite this, the Xbox 360 version of the celebrated racer remains unaffected.
Speaking in a statement today, Codemasters’ Ian Webster commented, "After three years of service, 2008's Race Driver: GRID's online play service has been discontinued for the PS3 and PC editions of the game.”
"This follows the decision by a third party provider to decline the offer of an extended contract to continue online play on these platforms.
"Race Driver: GRID for Xbox 360 is not affected. We thank fans for their support and apologise to those affected by the end of this service."

same mechanics as dirt2 but it on the road courses. imo, the cars were created too large for the size of the road, and they contained way too much oversteer. the overster mechanic works well in dirt2 as your supposed to slide on dirt. on the road the cars should have more grip then they did in GRID. I admit, my opinions are based on playing the demo, but thats how i felt and why i didn't purchase it.
I did purchase dirt2 and dirt3. -
