PS Vita gets in your face with impressive tech demo

Sony has revealed an impressive tech demo showcasing how PlayStation Vita will allow users to control games with their face.

The technology was uncovered at Tokyo’s Game Tools and Middleware event this week where Sony demonstrated a real-time video chat feature that converts facial movements into on-screen avatars.

Sony's Yoshikatsu Kanemaru named the technology “Face Control,” and though he didn’t demo any games that use the feature, he did say that he hopes developers will take advantage of the facial recognition tools and create games in which players can control movement with their face.
