Codemasters has confirmed that F1 2011 will launch alongside Sony's PlayStation Vita on February 22, 2012.

The portable racer will include all the main components from the home console version of the game, so you can expect all official teams, drivers and circuits to appear.

Furthermore, gamers can play a full season, including practice and qualifying sessions, as well as participate in the Grand Prix and have a go at the Time Trials.

Online multiplayer via Vita’s WLAN connection is also part of the package, with Grand Prix accommodating up to four players. Time Trial offers head-to-head racing, and you can also take part in a career mode featuring two-on-two co-op.

Stay tuned.
