Japanese publication Famitsu (via Andriasang) has confirmed that Ninja Gaiden III will be slicing n’ dicing its way onto store shelves in Japan on March 22.
The blood-drenched sequel is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will ship in both Standard and Collector’s Edition flavours.
In terms of a U.S and European launch, publisher Tecmo Koei hasn’t confirmed when the game will release in western territories, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Ninja Gaiden III marks the first entry in the venerable hack-‘em-up series to be developed without direct involvement from creator Tomonobu Itagaki, who left Team Ninja back in 2008.
