BioWare’s Mike Gamble has said that Mass Effect 3 owners may want to hold on to their save-games.
"It wouldn't be a bad idea," he teased, during a chinwag with GamerZines. "Obviously I can't say anything," he added, "but it wouldn't be a bad idea..."
Mass Effect 3 is intended to conclude Commander Shepard’s story in the trilogy, though BioWare has already said that this won’t mean the end of the series as a whole.
Of course, by suggesting gamers keep their ME3 saves, BioWare could be hinting at all kinds of possibilities; from a brand-new game to a slew of downloadable content for Shepard’s epic swansong. We'll just have to wait and see.
Mass Effect 3 is due out on March 6 in the U.S. and March 9 in Europe, for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
