BioShock: Infinite will support stereoscopic 3D on PlayStation 3, according to reports fresh from Sony’s Destination PlayStation event.
The news comes via a series of Tweets courtesy of retailer Future Shop Gamer, who is in attendance at the event in Arizona today.
Sadly, developer Irrational Games didn’t offer any clue as to when we can get our hands on the game, with the studio having only previously committed to a vague ‘2012’ launch.
BioShock: Infinite is due out on PS3, PC and Xbox 360, and takes the series high above the clouds on the airborne city of Columbia. Players assume control of a chap named Booker DeWitt, who is sent to the city to rescue Elizabeth, a young woman held captive for the past 12 years.
The game will also support PlayStation Move, as confirmed by BioShock boss Ken Levine at Sony’s E3 2011 presser.
