PlayStation 3-exclusive racer Gran Turismo 5 will be patched to v2.05 at some point this week, Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed.

The update will be rolled out in Japan tomorrow before arriving in the U.S. and Europe on February 16, and aims to iron out various bugs for the game's online component.

Gran Turismo 5 recently saw a re-release in the U.S. under the moniker GT5 XL Edition, which features the original game, the Spec 2.0 update, plus a voucher for downloadable content released in 2011.
