Harmonix has released more than 3,500 songs in its Rock Band Weekly updates over the past four years. Despite no intention to release a sequel to Rock Band 3 in the coming year, the company recently told Joystiq that it has “no plans to stop weekly releases any time soon.”

“We’ve been really pleased with the continued performance of Rock Band downloadable content,” a representative for Harmonix told Joystiq. If you still consider Rock Band the perfect Saturday night party game, you may want to put your requests on Rock Band’s Facebook App.

If you still play Rock Band, what songs do you want to see hit the weekly update?

A big "YAY!" for them continuing to support the software.

A big "BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" for them not continuing to support the hardware associated with it!!!

Living in Canada I can't find a single d@mn replacement guitar! If I want one I have to drive to the U.S. and hope that I can find one.
