If you enjoyed the splitscreen play in Warhawk, you’ll be happy to know that Starhawk is getting a similar feature for your couch pleasures. The development team considering four-player splitscreen, but based on data, not enough players used the feature in Warhawk, according to the PlayStation Blog.
In addition to enhanced two-player splitscreen (check out the screen below), two players will be able to log into a single PlayStation 3 via dual log-in. You’ll be able to retain XP earned at your friend’s house, but you won’t be able to earn trophies or character customizations as they are saved directly to the PS3. You can also play co-op offline. The game is slated for release on May 8.

I'm sure only a very smart few of you on here realize how MONEY this is.
It's surprising how little amount of multiplayer games support such a feature.
Warhawk - Starhawk..... I am a fan forever.

I am happy to hear on reducing the splitscreen. I couldn't see crap when it came to 3 or 4 player split on Warhawk, and that was on a 52" HD screen. I got Starhawk reserved, so just gotta wait now. After almost 5 years playing Warhawk, it's going to be nice to finally play the next edition.

I also find this to be a sweet feature. @1 you are right in that there really isn't enough games on the PS3 taking this into consideration. I was playing games with friends and family at home long before online became important. Really what I am saying is I enjoy sitting next to people while playing.
