Critically-acclaimed adventure title Journey has smashed records to become the fastest-selling PlayStation Network game in North America and Europe, Sony and thatgamecompany have revealed.

The announcement comes straight from creative director Jenova Chen via the U.S. and EU PlayStation Blog, though no actual sales figures were provided.

In addition, Chen also confirmed that the game’s soundtrack will be made available via the PS Store and iTunes on April 11, as well as a limited CD release.

This game was overrated. I played for about 10 min and was bored. I should have known since I wasn't that keen on Flower, but I'm always interested in games that are different. Maybe if I play longer it might start to grow on me. I'm just thinking if it hasn't grabbed me yet, it most likely won't later. I really don't understand why it's getting such high praise. Graphics aren't all that. Story is confusing at best. You can try to sound all sophisticated and say that I don't get it or it's art. But who cares if it's boring.

ThatGameCompany's games were all about providing a different experience such as a "feeling" or "atmosphere". So if thats not your cup of tea, then thats up to you, although you do claim to be interested in "games that are different".

Graphics......saying the graphics were poor speaks volumes on your stance of being "interested" in games that are different. And while we are talking about graphics, did you even spend any time paying attention to the sand as you walked? That sand was better than Uncharted visuals.

Was it really boring? Only if you have no interest in something different, or have no interest in exploring an environment.

Granted, the game was woefully short of content, but it was very good for what it had & for what it was. But each to his/her own.

I knew not to buy this from the start. Seeing where this game was developed from, yeah, not going there.

Well, Im sure no one is going to read this since it's a pretty old article, but I take back what I said. I did finally go back, and when I found someone it turned into this great "Journey"...the snow part really made me feel connected to the other player, even tho we couldn't say a word, we didn't need to. I was wrong. Great game that touches your "soul". I feel like I lost a really good friend now, lol
